Our Privacy Policy aims to describe in a clear and transparent way the management of the website www.nexusgroup.it regarding the processing of personal data of users who consult it and who use the services offered.

This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, the Italian Code for the Protection of Personal Data, the Provision issued by the Guarantor Authority "Identification of simplified procedures for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies" of 8 May 2014, as well as the subsequent "Clarifications regarding the implementation of the legislation on cookies", published on 5 June 2015, and the "Guidelines on the processing of personal data for online profiling" of 19 March 2015.

1. MISSION

The mission of the website www.nexusgroup.it is to provide our users with detailed and specific information for every need regarding the various food products, confectionery, ice cream and pastry.

The user has the possibility to register to our site by means of a specific user profile, to be constantly updated about the services and the food and confectionery products offered by subscribing to the dedicated newsletter, as well as to interact with the site by means of social buttons.

2. PRECEPTS

One of our fundamental objectives is to protect the personal data of users who access and register on our website. The data are processed according to the principles of relevance, necessity, lawfulness and correctness as provided by the Privacy Code, through the use of appropriate security measures and following the granting of consent by the parties concerned where applicable.

Users will always be informed in the event of substantial changes to this Privacy Policy and the related data processing, as well as to any different features and technical characteristics of the website, leaving them free to decide whether or not to continue to use the services offered.

3. "OWNER" AND PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

Our Privacy Policy applies to all users, following consultation, access and use of the website www.nexusgroup.it. 
Pursuant to art. 28 of the Code, the data controller is NEXUS GROUP SRL., an Italian food company, which operates at its headquarters located in Viale Lombardia, 16N - 20081 Cassinetta di Lugagnano (MI).

4. PURPOSE

The personal data provided voluntarily and optionally by the Users, are processed, in particular, in order to provide constant updates on the different food products offered, for the fulfillment of legal obligations and to allow a more effective management of professional relationships.

In particular, personal data voluntarily provided by users will be processed for the following purposes:

a) User registration

The site provides the use of "social connect" tools to facilitate user registration and access to the services offered by the Organization.

The social platforms allow the user to register on the site using their own account, avoiding the manual entry of the requested information. The Social Network associates the user profile with the profile of the website and allows the use of its authentication system to access, transferring to the site the user ID, e-mail address and information associated with the public profile (eg photos, public information, lists of friends, etc..).

The site www.nexusgroup.it collects only and exclusively the information strictly necessary and functional to the registration (name, surname, email address), discarding a priori the rest. The processing of data collected from social accounts is therefore to be considered relevant, proportional and not excessive to the purposes pursued.

b) Subscription to the Newsletter

The site also allows the user to subscribe to newsletters according to a role. Basically, all users who register are assigned the status of consumer, the user will flaggare any additional roles as a professional (ice cream maker, barman, chef, etc..) to receive newsletters dedicated.

We communicate with our users by email, phone, SMS and any other comparable means, both traditional and automated. They may receive welcome communications, operating instructions on how to best use the site, new products and services offered, promotions, new features, communications to improve conditions, updating services and the like.

In order to receive promotional communications, it is necessary that the user gives his consent for marketing purposes when providing data. Users may at any time request to change their contact preferences or refuse to receive such communications by making a specific request, as better described in Section 8 of this Policy.

c) Statistics

We reserve the right to conduct statistical surveys, monitor advertising campaigns, and report on the results obtained. These activities will only take place in an anonymous and aggregated manner.

5. INTERACTION WITH OTHER SITES

In order to better publicize our products, we allow the user to visit different web pages, through links within the site.

These links to different web portals are not under the control of the data controller, and in particular Nexus Group srl. does not have the government of the relevant cookies loaded.

During navigation and use of the website www.nexusgroup.it, certain information is collected, whether it is linked to a registered user or to a visitor who does not access a profile. Although this data is not collected in order to be associated with the identity of the subject, it could indirectly, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow its identification.

7. TREATMENT METHODS

The processing of data may consist, in addition to their collection, in their recording, storage, modification, communication, cancellation, dissemination, etc.. and will be carried out both with the use of paper, both with the aid of electronic tools and computer or otherwise innovative, in a manner and with tools to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 31 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, relating to the "minimum security measures for the processing of personal data".

In particular, all technical, IT, organisational, logistical and procedural security measures will be adopted, as provided for by Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, by "Annex B" to the same decree (so called Technical Regulations), by the various measures issued subsequently to integration, so that at least the minimum level of data protection required by law is guaranteed.

In addition, the methodologies applied ensure that access to data is allowed only to the persons in charge of processing by us.

8. OPTIONALITY OF DATA PROVISION

The provision of data for registration to the site and the purposes of marketing, relating to the subscription to the newsletter (Ref. Paragraph 4 "Purpose", points a and b) are optional and for the processing of such data is not required, for the User, give consent.

The interested party will receive by email an automatic summary communication, from us, of all the data provided and the consent given.

The forwarding of this communication allows the user to have effective and documented evidence of all the data in our possession and the consents given, as well as the related contact methods for the exercise of the right of access as provided for in art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03.

9. DATA SHARING AND COMMUNICATION

The personal data collected for the achievement of the indicated purposes may be communicated, to the extent of their specific competence, to third parties that the Data Controller uses, such as, for example, the following categories:

• Subjects that provide consulting services in general to the Organization. 

These subjects have limited access to the personal data of registered users only to carry out activities on behalf of the Data Controller and are obliged not to disclose or use them for other purposes.

10. DURATION OF TREATMENT

If you have given us your specific consent for marketing purposes, the data you provide will be processed for a time that is relevant, proportionate and not excessive to those purposes. Specifically, we have set a maximum retention period of 5 years.

Apart from the above times, we reserve the right to retain personal data for a maximum of 10 years for the sole purpose of fulfilling the obligations and controls imposed by law (anti-fraud, anti-money laundering, identity theft, etc.).

11. THE RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED

Users have the right to contact us for any information on their personal data, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking in violation of the law, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their treatment.
